Today my BABY girl is....FIFTEEN!
Oh yeah, and Happy Mother's Day to me (and you). Hope you are all having a nice day, what ever you are doing.
I got to choose what was for breakfast.
If you scroll down a little bit on that page you will see a small video clip & recipe. My family made blueberry ones and they were so so yummy! Lyndsie chose dinner and then we are making homemade vanilla ice cream to go with her TRANSFORMERS cake...lol!! Yeah, she looks really girly, but uh, really likes hangin with the boys. I'm thinking we would get something cute and pink or purple (like Disney princess or Tinkerbell). Nope. Not my Lyndsie. By the way, older girls still appreciate Disney princess stuff! Heck, Krystina wanted a 'princess' cake but we couldn't find one so she chose Ariel...then when we found the transformer cake, they had Disney princess cakes! She was so bugged. lol.
Well, I was just informed that there was a small disaster in the kitchen with the ice cream...lol
Dan's custard for the ice cream was going smoothly until he tried to chill it in a glass bowl and set that in a bowl with ice water and the custard bowl's bottom cracked and fell into the ice water! All he could say was "I just wasted 6 eggs" too funny. Poor guy, he's been excited all day to make ice cream with the kids.
Today has been a really nice day! My husband and son sang in Sacrament meeting today, Kyle made a cute flower out of coffee filters in primary, we (the ladies) received a baggie chock full of yummy dark chocolate candies from Sees, more candy passed around in Relief Society, and then as a parting gift from the Relief Society lesson we were given a new picture/print that I've never seen of Christ, more chocolate candies AND a very LARGE Symphony chocolate bar! Can it get any better than this? Maybe....my son recycled a bridal shower prize given to Krystina yesterday and wrapped it up for me (in his last years wrapping). Too funny! Oh yes, I can't forget to mention the flower pen he made me at school to which he handed to me and said it was 'scented' which I then smelt...and in came this very strong scent of AXE. This kid sure loves me! I'm sort of scared to open the 'real' gift, but its from the girls and I *know* they pick out really nice gifts! But at the end of the day, the best memories are those that come from the heart. The "I love you Mama's" and the squeezes. Just knowing that this funny bunch that keeps me on my toes constantly has been well worth the journey of Motherhood!

Can I go to your ward next year? :) We got a dove chocolate bar, and Chloe handed out the candy she had put in a homemade flower pot she had made me in primary to her friends. LOL!
