friendship bread

A few months ago, the girls received a starter bag from a lesson in Relief Society. That bag turned into 4 more bags that turned into 16 bags...you get the point. Instead of passing all of the starters along, my dear Husband decided that 'I' could make it all and put it in the freezer so they could enjoy it. It became a huge expense not to say A LOT of time baking. I baked about 30 some odd loaves of bread, threw away a few starters and passed a few along the way. Now we are down to ONE starter bag which means every 10 days I will bake a huge batch of bread-which by the way is so so yummy!
Today I'd like to pass along a gift to you! You can find the recipe for the bread here.
The starter here.
I've even included a cute recipe attachment to pass along with your bread & starter here.

It truly is a wonderful gift to give to your family, close friends, neighbors, or the ladies you V.T. I took about 15 loaves to the karate studio and everyone raved about the bread. Enjoy.

Happy Friday!
