Last night I couldn't sleep thinking of the gazillion things on my 'to do' list when I remembered reading about www.scrapblog.com in Simple Scrapbooks magazine. Kinda liking that new website for blogging purposes! It's FREE and there are all kinds of fun dodads to play with. When you publish your pages it takes you to a page like flickr. There you can create a group of your own pages for friends or family to view. If you LOVE digital scrapbooking, you will really love this. Soon you will have the option to print your layouts. Cool. And remember girls, it's FREE! lol.
Sorry you can't open the page to see the pictures closer..but soon this blog will be covered with scores of photos from Nebraska! Dan just took a few teasers for me.
The count down is on now. 2 weeks and counting until he leaves for Texas, then he'll spend 3 months in Kansas. I am grateful for my military training (military wife that is) because even though it's been over 11 years, 4 months is still shorter than a 6 month tour over seas! He will have a few trips home, but I'm kinda thinkin that while Jessica is home for the fall, I'll be traveling to see him
Got our trip all planned out. Jessica and I decided we wanted to take the kids up through Salt Lake City to tour Temple Square and all that's good there. We had such a great time when we took her to school that we wanted to share that with the other kids. So a quick SHOUT OUT TO MISS SHELLY....I'll email you the dates and if your free, we'd love to come by for a short visit! Then we will move on into Colorado where we will hang and have some fun with friends there, do school shopping, stock up at Costco and then head up into Nebraska. Yeah, did I forget to mention we won't have a Costco???? Yup. Oh well, just means that once a month trip to the Temple will be more involved and well worth the drive.
As for the photos...one is a picture of McDonalds (can't live without that), the new church building awaiting landscaping, some corn fields and the lake that runs through town.
Happy Monday night!
