Christine & Sharla called and asked if they could come by on Sunday with dinner...of course, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to spend time with two of my dearest friends! It's been awhile since I've seen them and I miss them so much. They made the most yummiest tacos, spanish rice (which I still need the recipe for) and beans. It was fun catching up on life, sharing new experiences and just being together. Sadly, this might be the last time I see them before the move, and there is talk about a scrap get-away (maybe) in Denver. You girls know that I love you dearly and I'm so grateful to have you as friends...and THANK YOU again for dinner!!

Shortly after this photo I mentioned we were moving and (E) just about fell apart. I felt really horrible. I tried to change the subject quickly by asking him about a school report he had done on Kansas. He laid there in deep thought then raised his head up and said "but why do you have to move". My heart just broke and I could see that tears were forming in his eyes. I tried to reassure him that we won't be far and that we will still see & talk to one another. Then before I could think of something else to assure him he asked "can I spend the night"...lol. Any time kid, anytime, because he KNOWS I love him.
Look at this! Craziness. Christine had so much fun on the trampoline...I enjoyed watching her and hearing her sweet giggle, oh how I've missed our late night cackles!!

I am really going to miss times like this, although they have become fewer as we all have more kids and life gets crazier. It's been an amazing 11 years of laughter, tears and good friendship. And no matter how far I am, please know that I love you all dearly!!

YOU ARE FAST!!! I love all our pictures and I keep looking at them on my camera until I get home next week. I think the most classic moment of the night, besides hysterical splits in the air... was Photobooth experimentation. ROFL! I can't wait to put that on my mac. Thanks so much for hosting us and for a most incredibly fun night. We are going to miss you terribly. I love that you put the new pic of you and Dan on here already. Your hair was so beautiful! Cute lil dental commercial. I miss you already! I need to get your pictures also. LOVE YOU TONS!
