When we arrived into Nebraska it had just gotten dark. We were unable to get photos after that since I had no idea where I was going, in the dark! So, on our way to Denver a few weeks ago, the kids snapped a few photos. Mind you, these are kid photos.
This is how it played out....
Me: Can you guys try to get some pictures for me?
Kids: We are tired of taking pictures Mom.
Me: Please (in a super whiny voice) ????
Jessica: Here Lyndsie, you take them.
Lyndsie: lalalalalalalallaaaaaaaaa
Me: Oh wow! Look at that...that would make a great photo!
Lyndsie: lalalalalallalaaaaaaaaaaa
Me: Hello? Can someone take some photos??? (not whining anymore).
Lyndsie: OH ME?? Okay moma.
Lyndsie: click click click click click click click click click click click click click....
Me: Lynds, what are you taking pictures of??
Lyndsie: Stuff.
Me: Trying to be grateful that someone cares.
Later on....I found pictures of Tuckers rear that I will NOT be sharing on this blog, but hey, thanks Lyndsie :)
Here are my favorites from her shots.

Good ole' Nebraska farming. Most of the corn grown around us is not for eating, its for feeding.
You see a lot of cows, horses and more cows and more horses. Some of the prettiest horses I've ever seen!
This was just about 10 miles out of town. If you look out in the distance, you can see that it isn't flat here...we are located in the sandhills and it is an amazing sight to see.
The railroad.

Double rainbows! Not the best shot, but we have had several storms leaving up to 3 rainbows at a time...so cool!
Amazing sunsets after the storms.
Yesterday morning it started off at about 52 degrees, heavy fog and heavy drizzle. By noon, it had all cleared up with bright blue open skies at about 85 degrees. Then, around 4:30pm dark dark clouds rolled in from who knows where, SCARY DARK CLOUDS...they opened up an amazing thunderstorm with heavy wind & rain and it dropped to about 62 degrees. At the end of the storm we saw yet another spectacular double rainbow! These are amazing clear across the sky, all colors to be seen.
After posting these photos, I can see all the dirt and dust inside my camera...please look past those uckie dark spots :)
Until next time.....

That's funny about the pictures. I have felt tired of taking pictures before, but never regret when I do it anyways. Thanks for not posting the Tucker rear phots! LOL One time at a wedding, there were cameras on the table and our table went crazy with the cameras. LOL
WE have wacky weather like that too, especially now, since it is monsoon season. I LOVE IT! We played softball with the YW last night and it was POURING at home, but where we were playing it was just right with lightning all around us. Crazy cool weather.
love you, Christine
Wow, you're not in Kansas anymore. Well, I guess you just aren't in California anymore! :)
i was the one who took the rainbow picture.
oh well.
