Rockin Wyoming
Into our 5th state in 2 days....this had to have been the LONGEST drive that seemed as though it would never end. The minute we entered into Wyoming there were fireworks stands, MANY of them. They weren't the portable ones, they were permanent fixtures. I suppose if we'd like to have a really awesome fireworks show, we all need to travel and stay in Wyoming where they aren't illegal! My trusty co-pilot Jess, tried to get as many pictures as she could for me. Wyoming is a beautiful state, desolate, but pretty. Not sure I'd want to live there personally, but for traveling purposes it was ok. We had to travel basically across Utah, Wyoming and get into Nebraska before dark (that didn't happen). The night before the kids and I googled ALL the Sonic's along our route so we'd have a place to stop and eat/snack. The first stop at Sonic turned out to be a total waste of time, well, I take that back...my trusty camera battery died and I knew that I would not be able to finish the day with no photos...so we stopped in a large town with a Super Wal-Mart and bought a battery charger, then headed to Sonic to get some ice cream. Mind you, we weren't in the boonies, this was a pretty big town...we waited and waited for what seemed FOREVER, just to find out they were out of this and that. After 45 minutes (can you believe I waited that long) we were back on the road with treats that none of us enjoyed! No one finished their ice cream, YUCK! We didn't let that spoil the rest of our day, so we broke out the treats my girlfriend Lisa packed for us. With a little sugar in my brain, I knew that I could make it a few more hours driving. You know, I have to say, Tucker was such a good boy on this trip! He is a super traveler. As the evening came to and end and it was getting dark, our last stop was again, SONIC! This time, our tummies were happily filled with warm burgers, french fries and cherry lime aides.
Wyoming: check.

I am loving these collages you are doing Erin. I want to learn how to do that on the puter. Sorry about Sonic. Not a fan really. My kids love it. That is so sweet that your friend made you cookies.
love ya, Christine
