Please consider voting YES on 8

The friend of a friend put this video together. I must say, it took my breath away and I started to cry. I can't even imagine how much will change if we don't stand up for what we believe in. My friend Sharla
posted about this a few days ago on her blog. She put careful consideration into her thoughts and was very informative as she listed the negatives if this does NOT pass. I stand so strongly on this issue, but please realize that people are free to chose for themselves how they want to live their lives. I ponder the future and how much it will effect the lives of our children, grandchildren and everything else that we believe, say and do. Please take a stand, VOTE FOR 8!

THANK You for sharing your thoughts on this too!
Growing up for a major portion of my childhood without a father heavily weighs my thoughts on this issue. Having the nurturing of a mother, and the care and protection of a father is the ideal...I know nothing can replace that.
I know TOO MANY kids don't have that opportunity regardless of how the election turns out...but I will continue to stand up for that in any way I can.

This proposition is such an important one to keep the sanctity of marriage. We are living in times where it seems that all of the traditional values that we have grown up with are no longer important to many in society and it saddens me. Let marriage be the traditional institution that God intended it to be-between a man and a woman!

I am so concerned about this. I do truly believe that this is not going to just be a California problem in the future.
